Married Olympic swimmers wearing their matching Speedo caps.
When Olympic Swimmers Dominik Meichtry and Jessica Hardy (right) decided to take the plunge and get married they thought they’d do things a little differently.
Rather than having their photos taken outside a boring church they stripped out of their wedding togs and headed straight to the pool to show off their matching ‘Just Married’ swimsuits and ‘Mr and Mrs’ Speedo caps.
Not sure if the vows were read under water or if the bride swam up the lane rather than walk down the aisle.
But hopefully things went a little better than the engagement when Swiss Olympic swimmer Dominik left the engagement ring in Jessica’s backpack at the World Championships in Barcelona and she unwittingly gave the backpack away to one of the volunteers to say thankyou.
